You'll get the chance to meet Santa and Lil' C. Also starting at 5:00pm elementary students will be singing 5 carols at the Anchor, followed by CHS vocal music students at 5:15.

Every Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade balloon starts out with a sketch. Lost Creek 2nd graders learned to persevere this week by designing a sketch, listing their materials needed, and then building a model of their balloon for our own version of the Thanksgiving Parade. The students then paraded around the gym during our morning assembly.










Do you want to build a Turkey? We are building some turkeys in #PhysEd class today @CPSLostCreek using a bunch of different equipment. Students work together to be as creative as they can to make a turkey. #SoarOnEagles #DoYouWantToBuildATurkey







We filled our Thankful Tree with all the things we are thankful for. Students wrote on the leaves during class after reading the book Thankful. @CPSLostCreek #SoarOnEagles #PhysEd


2S created a bucket for the Halloween contest at Sonic and finished in the top 5 classes. They got to celebrate their victory with Sonic Slushies donated by our local Sonic store.

Lost Creek 2nd Graders has an amazing time at Edgerton Explorit Center today in Aurora! They got to listen to demonstrations about electricity and bubbles and play with some hands on science materials.







Voters, have you returned your survey?
In September, CPS mailed a survey to all registered voters who submitted a ballot in the May 9th special bond election. This survey is the first step of many to determine a new solution to address the needs of Columbus Public Schools. If you have not yet returned your survey we ask that you please do so by Friday, October 20th.

Learning Cafe in second grade!
Lost Creek 2nd graders spent Wednesday afternoon participating in coffee shop themed learning activities. They ended the day with a special treat.

CHS will be hosting an immunization clinic in partnership with ECDHD on September 28th. Appointments can be made by calling ECDHD.
