Youth track registration is now open! The first practice will be April 17th with the final meet on May 6th.

The Lost Creek students are working on our hand-eye coordination by learning cup stacking in physical education class.
Second graders syllabication superstars showed their knowledge of the consonant +le syllable type by spelling consonant +le words on small magnetic whiteboards and sorting them by the sounds of their first syllable!
2nd Grade held a "Book Tasting" today. They looked through books that they have never read before and used the clues to find the story's setting.

Lost Creek is participating in the Kids Heart Challenge (16th year) We are currently at $1,829.61 and our goal is $8,500. Our school best was just under $12,000 two years ago. Please consider registering your student and watching the 70 second video to learn Hands-only CPR.

After continued review of the weather data and snow clearing needs, there will be no school tomorrow, 1/19/23. Staff please check your email for more information regarding who must report. Students will return to class on Monday, 1/23/23.
Due to the uncertainty of the upcoming forecast and in conversation with the City of Columbus roads department we will be pushing back our decision until 10:00 pm tonight regarding whether or not we will close school.

Due to the impending storm that is to affect our area Columbus Public School buildings will be closed tomorrow January 3, 2023 except for essential personnel. CPS staff please refer to an email sent at 12:26pm for more information. All practices and events scheduled for Tuesday, January 3rd are cancelled. Buildings will reopen on Wednesday, January 4th. Classes will resume on Thursday, January 5th.
