⭐️Lillian is a very hard-working student who always gives her best in everything she does. She doesn't give up easily and is always ready to put in the effort to get things right. If anyone needs help, Lillian is the first to offer a hand, whether it's with classwork or something else. She's also always willing to answer questions and give thoughtful inside to the class. ⭐️Javier Marino is our 6 Maroon Student of the week! Javier is a quiet leader who is always on task. Once he is done with his task, he will pull a book out to read or complete other homework. We appreciate all of the effort he has put in this year in 6th grade! His quiet focus contributes to a postive learning environment for himself and his peers. We are proud of you Javier!

⭐️Arabella does a tremendous job focusing in class. She is quick to raise her hand to participate in class discussions and is typically correct with what she adds to the conversation! At tonight's Board of Education meeting the BOE recognized Mrs. Joni Ebel on receiving the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST).

5 Silver students had the opportunity to choose from a variety of engaging activities, including ping pong, learning to crochet, working on puzzles, and more. It's great to see them staying active and creative while staying warm indoors!

On Wednesday, Mr. Solamillo's class wrote thank you letter's to their favorite teachers. What a great way to celebrate I Love Public School's Day!

⭐️Jacob is a quiet role model for his peers. He is always on task and very good at finding something to do if he completes work early. It is obvious that he spends time studying and putting effort into his work both in and out of school. We appreciate all your hard work, Jacob! Keep it up!
⭐️Our 6 Maroon Student of the Week is Elyssa. Elyssa always puts 100% effort into her classes. She is thoughtful and helpful to others around her! She will ask additional questions if she has any, and remembers to wait until directions are completed before asking. We are so grateful for her positive outlook on life and doing the right thing- even when no one is watching! We are lucky to have you on our team! Keep it up!

⭐️William does a great job of listening closely to instructions and following them to the best of his ability. He always works hard on his assignments and helps others around him work harder, too. Keep up the GREAT work, William!
⭐️Jack is a kind and hardworking student who always tries his best. He sets goals for himself and works hard to achieve them. Jack is a good friend to everyone and knows how to make people laugh with his great sense of humor. His positive attitude and determination make him a joy to have in class!

7th-grade students have been working on solving inequalities. One of their activities in Ms. Ebel’s class was to solve an inequality picture puzzle where the answer to a problem led them to solve another problem until they completed a 4x4 puzzle.

Our 7th-grade Accelerated Math students worked together in their learning teams to reflect points and shapes on the coordinate plane. 📝📐 This hands-on activity is part of their unit on transformations, and they’re mastering it like pros! 💪📊


🎨✨ Ms. Rasmussen & Ms. Terveen's 5th Grade Reading Class took a creative dive into the Renaissance during the kickoff of Unit 5! Students embraced their inner Michelangelo, painting "like" the Sistine Chapel ceiling. 🖌️🌟
