6th Grade
⭐️This sixth silver student is an incredibly studious and dedicated learner who always puts forth her best effort. She stays on task, takes her work seriously, and sets a wonderful example for others. Not only is she hardworking, but she is also extremely helpful in the classroom and a truly great friend to her peers. We are so proud of her positive attitude and leadership! Great job, Ellie!

5th Grade
⭐️The 5th Grade Silver Student of the week is Nolan. He is a hard worker in class, getting his assignments done with efficiency and accuracy. He is respectful and kind to his teachers and classmates. Nolan Diaz has done a fabulous job adjusting to 5th grade by making new friends, following the rules, and growing his mind each day. We are proud of you, Nolan!
⭐️The 5 Maroon student of the week is observant and thoughtful. He likes to learn does his best work in every class. In a nutshell, he is just a tremendous student and he impresses his teachers every day with the level of insight and curiousity that he brings to each class. Great job, Jaydn!

📢 On Thursday, our 7th grade C, B, and A teams all played Schuyler Middle School. Our C team could only play one half, but they still played amazing and just fell short of a victory. Our A/B team played great, getting a lead of 18 points by halftime. We are so proud they brought home a victory for CMS! We are proud of you, girls, and keep playing amazing! 🏀
✨What an amazing Spirit Week!✨ This week was filled with energy, creativity, and so much school spirit. From funny dress-up days to wearing our school colors, it was awesome seeing our students and staff dressing up and participating in this week's spirit theme. Huge shoutout to our 8th grade girls basketball team! We're so proud of the C team's hustle and effort, even if the final score didn't go our way. Congrats to the A and B teams; although they played a game together, they all stepped up and pulled off the win. Great job, girls, and go Discoverers!

8th Grade
⭐️.The 8 Silver Student of the Week is someone who strives for perfection in everything she does. She is a quiet leader whose patience and careful attention help her, as well as her classmates, do their best work. She also really advocates for herself by asking her teachers questions to ensure that she fully understands the material. On top of that, she is kind, responsible, and consistently does what is expected of her. We are so proud to have her in 8 Silver! Great job, Halleryn!

7th Grade

5th Grade
⭐️The 5 Silver student of the week is Sofia. She always comes to class with a friendly smile and a Hello! Sofia does a fantastic job of following directions, being responsible, and respectful. She is friendly and cooperative with her classmates as well. Sofia is a great helper in the classroom to her teachers and classmates. She does her best on all of her school work. We are lucky to have you on our 5 Silver team. Congrats, Sofia!
⭐️This student is one of the most fantastic writers to ever grace the 5th grade. She is a stellar student who consistently completes her assignments on time and never disrupts a thing—not even a fly. She is a deep thinker and an outstanding problem-solver. For these reasons and more, we are proud to recognize Analia as our Maroon Student of the Week.

We can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity and winter cheer!

This week, our students put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by using the Engineering & Design Process to disguise their turkeys. From superheroes to pop stars to everyday objects, these turkeys were determined to stay off the Thanksgiving table! 😄🎨
We loved seeing their brainstorming, planning, building, and improving in action—and the results were absolutely hilarious and so impressive!

Today our 5th and 6th graders went to all the elementary schools to perform their play, Alice in Wonderland 🐰. They had a blast, as this is the first year they have done this. The elementary students loved seeing the first and last scenes. 🃏 Our students are super excited to put on this show next week on Friday, December 5th at 7 p.m., and Saturday, December 6th at 2 p.m.! 🎭
