On Monday, our 8th-grade A-team girls basketball team played a tough game against York but came out on top in the end. We are so proud of our girls! 🥳 Go team! ✨




5th Grade
⭐️The 5 Silver Student of the week is Zaelece. She is a stellar student who works hard, puts her best effort into every assignment, and participates in class. Zaelece is kind and friendly to others in the classroom as well. This 5th grader can be seen following the rules by being safe, respectful, and responsible at CMS. Zaelece is also willing to help her teachers and classmates whenever needed. Way to rock 5th grade, Zae!
⭐️Our final Student of the Week for Semester 1 is someone who brings her own wonderful style into our classroom every single day. She is quirky, creative, and confidently herself — and we love that about her. She consistently goes above and beyond on her homework, thinks deeply, and shines as an exceptional writer. 8th Grade

Our 6th graders have been working on experimental probability! Students experimented with drawing cubes from a bag and then compared their results to the theoretical probability they calculated.







7th Grade

On Tuesday, our 8th grade girls basketball team faced off against Walnut in an intense and thrilling match. The girls displayed remarkable determination and teamwork, showcasing their skills on the court. We are truly proud of their incredible effort and resilience, resulting in a triumphant victory in all their games! 🌟🙌

6th grade has been working on finding the area of shapes other than rectangles.
Today, they explored how the area of a triangle compares to the area of a parallelogram. By building rectangles and parallelograms from two equal triangles, they were able to discover the formula for finding the area of a triangle! 🔺📐✨




7th Grade
