Student Council is hosting a Food Drive the week of Nov. 6th. Bring non-perishable food items to your advisory! On Friday, Advisory classes will use the food items to build a castle! Pictures of the food castles will be submitted to Student Council who will vote for the following categories and prizes - Best Overall - Donuts, Most Food-Star for your banner, Most Creative - Candy, and Best Per Grade Level - Lunch Fast Passes. All food collected will be donated to the Platte County Food Bank.

7th grade activity night is next Friday, November 3rd, from 5:30 to 7:30. We are in need of: -donations of money so we can purchase pizza -donations of individually packed snacks or drinks (Little Debbies, cookies, fruit snacks, Gatorades, snack-size candy bars, etc.) for the snack walk -supervisors to monitor the students in a gym or at one of the games. The Discoverer Den is the school store operated by the CMS Student Council. CMS students can purchase many different items such as candy, school supplies, small toys, and Discoverer Gear using "Discoverer Bucks." Students earn Discoverer Bucks by being Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Kind. The line is always really long with students who are excited to spend their hard-earned Discoverer Bucks!
