North Park Elementary School

The North Park Kindness Challenge for February returned. Students earned a penguin to add to the ice-skating rink when their teacher caught them doing something kind for someone else. We are challenging students to learn and act out of kindness on their own. Penguins have not been given for doing regular classroom jobs and helping the teacher when she/he asks.  We wanted our students to see an opportunity to show kindness on their own. This has been a very encouraging experience as our students have grown in kindness for one another. The goal is to have kindness and doing kind deeds just become a part of who they are and what they do.
