North Park organized a morning event dedicated to reading in conjunction with the Read Across America initiative, which honors Dr. Seuss's birthday and promotes literacy among children. Dr. Seuss authored numerous entertaining and imaginative books that have inspired a love for reading in countless individuals over the years.
Teachers at North Park selected their preferred books and designed activities that aligned with the themes of those books. Various groups, comprising students from kindergarten through fourth grade, moved throughout the building and between classrooms, eagerly anticipating the stories they would hear and the activities that would follow.
