The holiday season is upon us, November is quickly drawing to a close, and December is right around the corner! The high school football season is ending, but the basketball and wrestling seasons are just about to begin. I enjoy watching both sports and the Discoverer teams really appreciate the support of those that attend their events.
In PE class, the students have finished throwing/catching skills, and are currently working on hula hoops and jump rope skills. The students really seem to enjoy these activities while demonstrating their creativity! Coming soon will be striking/volleying skills (Volleyball) and some holiday games to finish out the 2nd quarter.
Current/upcoming PE units: Jumping Rope; Hula Hoops; Striking/Volleying
(Volleyball skills); Holiday games
Body Trivia: What is the smallest bone in the human body? The stapes, or stirrup bone, which is located in the middle ear.
Have a joyous holiday season everyone!
