West Park had a 'Spook-tacular' Halloween parade! A big THANK YOU to Officer French who came to talk to our kids about Trick-or-Treat safety!

Our West Park Families enjoyed a night of fun at Fall Festival! Our staff served hot dogs and chips. Families then walked around to different stations that included games, pumpkin decorating and dessert making. One of the favorite stations was the Snack Walk! We got to enjoy some fun Halloween music as we walked and then we had tons of snacks to choose from when we won the game! Students wrapped up their evening with trick-or-treating from classroom to classroom.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our Fall Festival a HUGE success: Our CHS student volunteers for running the different games around the school, our teachers who set up, served food, and passed out treats, and our West Park PTO for sponsoring Fall Festival.

3rd Grade visited City Hall to learn about how the choices of people impact the community. Mayor Bulkley took our students on a tour of the Columbus Public Library as well as City Hall on the 3rd Floor of our Community Building!

West Park 2nd Graders celebrated their last week with their Rockin’ Readers. Our Rockin' Readers have come to read to us every Monday and we have loved getting to have them!
We will be cheering our Rockin' Readers on the rest of their season!
Go Discoverers!!

In the library today, our 3rd and 4th graders got to play "musical chairs" to preview our brand new books that are ready for the shelves. When the music played, they walked around (and danced). When the music stopped, they sat down and previewed the book at their chair. What a fun way to show off our new books and get kids interested.

Thank you, Ms. Lawrence for all that you do for West Park Elementary!
