Fourth grade teacher Travis McCloud’s 4th grade class of distinguished scholars are very excited about getting all “tied” up on Tuesdays with learning how to tie a tie!
Tie Tuesdays, as Mr. McCloud calls it, gives the kids a chance to wear and learn to tie a tie.
"It’s a lifelong skill that really could benefit them in the long run, and it’s a great thing to know how to do," he said. "It also gives them a chance to be unique by picking out a tie that they like the most to wear for the day!"
The students have really taken off with this idea! The other teachers in the building even pitched in some of their fanciest of ties! We are all “tied” up with excitement for a new year and new learning…tie tying being one of them!
