CMS Math Counts is looking to build their team. Any 7th or 8th Grade student interested in trying out for Math Counts should attend the informational meeting on Monday, October 31 after school in Ms. McKee 's room (A141).
Student Council is hosting a Tshirt Design Contest.
The theme is CMS is Out of this World. You may get a contest form from your advisory teacher. Look over the requirements on the form carefully. Submissions are due to the front office by Nov. 10th. Student Council will select a winning design which will be available for purchase later this year!
Student Council is hosting a Food Drive the week of Nov. 7th. Bring non-perishable food items to your advisory! On Thursday, your Advisory will use the food items to build a castle! Pictures of the food castles will be submitted to Student Council who will vote for the following categories and prizes - Best Overall - Donuts, Most Food-Star for your banner, Most Creative - Candy, and Best Per Grade Level - Lunch Fast Passes.
All food collected will be donated to the Platte County Food Bank.
The Discoverer Den will be open this Friday, November 4th, after school from 3:30-4pm. You can spend your ORANGE or GOLD Discoverer Bucks to purchase items.
The list of items available for purchase and their prices is found in your Grade Level Google Classroom shared by your counselor.
11/7/22 Student Council: There is a meeting today after school in Ms. Nilson's Room. If you are unable to attend after school today, you must attend the make-up meeting tomorrow morning at 7:40am in Ms. Nilson's room.
