During our school closure, Columbus Public Schools wants to ensure that students are still receiving an education. Beginning March 30, Middle School teachers will begin assigning work for students to complete.
All students will receive the contents of his/her locker and fitness locker.
All students will receive their school computer (some may already be at home).
All 7th and 8th Grade students will receive their My Perspectives ELA textbook.
All band students will need their instruments (some may already be at home).
All students enrolled in Art for the 4th quarter will receive supplies.
All medications kept at school will be released to parents or legal guardians.
The distribution of these items will be THIS WEEK ONLY. Wednesday, March 18 through Friday, March 20 at Columbus Middle School. Wednesday 10 am-4 pm, Thursday 8 am-noon and 2 pm-7 pm, and Friday 8 am-4 pm.
To protect the safety and health of our students, all individuals must use the following guidelines when arriving to collect student materials.
Do not come to collect materials if you or anyone in your family is experiencing any symptoms of illness (especially sore throat, cough, or fever)
Do not come to collect materials if you have traveled within the last two weeks to any of the following states: Washington, New York, Colorado, or California. Or to any of the following countries: China, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Iran, or Hong Kong.
Come to the Media Center outside entrance on the south side of the building. You will have to answer a series of questions before entering. Bring a minimal number of people to collect items. We prefer that only the student or one parent comes to collect items.
Individuals will not be allowed to enter any other part of CMS.
Students with “Battle of the Books” or PAC scholarship materials may bring them at this time.

Empezando el 30 de marzo, los maestros de la secundaria van a empezar a asignar tareas para que los alumnos completen.

Individuos no pueden entrar a ninguna otra parte de la escuela.
Alumnos con materiales de la beca PAC o “Battle of the Books” pueden traerlos en ese momento.
