She is in Key Club, FCA, NHS, C-Club, Leadership and Ethics, and is on the IDance Project Competition team. She is a Barista at the Broken Mug. Next year she plans to attend UNO to study entrepreneurship.
Meet homecoming candidate Carter Trebac!
Carter is involved in tennis and is a VolunTEEN for the community hospital. He has not yet decided on a college, but plans to study business and travel abroad.
Meet homecoming candidate Larkin Westfall!
She a Diamond Dancer, and in C-Club, HOSA, Leadership and Ethics. She is on the competitive team for Barb’s School of Dance. Next year she plans to attend either UNO or UNL to major in psychology.
Meet homecoming candidate Duncan Rosno!
He is in New World Singers, Bakers Dozen, Musicals, Student Council, Tri-M, and is a senior class officer and a student ambassador. Next year he plans to attend UNO to study emergency management so that he can work with the Federal Emergency Management Agency coordinating disaster relief and recovery.
Meet homecoming candidate Lauren Vasicek!
Lauren participates in track and field, Student Council, Key Club, FCA, C-Club, Leadership and Ethics, VolunTEEN, and is the NHS secretary. Next year she plans to attend UNL to study pre-nursing and get your BSN.
Meet homecoming candidate Dany Rodriguez!
Dany participates in cross country, track and field, Leadership and Ethics, Key Club, HOSA, C-Club, and the Trinity Lutheran youth group. He is also an FCA leader. He has not yet decided on a college but plans to study kinesiology and work as a physical therapist.
Meet homecoming candidate Emily Mausbach!
Emily is a CHS cheerleader and helps with the Sparkle cheerleaders and CMS cheer. She also dances at Lynette’s Dance Studio. She is currently planning to attend UNL before transferring to UNMC to pursue her dream of becoming a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
Meet homecoming candidate Connor Kallweit!
Connor participates in football, basketball, soccer, Student Council, C-Club, HOSA, FCA, Great Teenage Boys, Rockin Readers, Thursday Night Lights, and Leadership and Ethics. He is an employee of Barefoot Lawn Care and Bennett Boys Lawn Care. He has not yet decided on a college but plans to continue playing soccer while studying radiology.
Meet homecoming candidate Ayla Janssen!
Ayla is in volleyball, basketball, soccer, NHS, Student Council, FCA, and HOSA. She is on the Habitat for Humanity Campus Committee. Next year she plans to play college soccer at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. She is not sure of her major, but would like to pursue a career in the medical field.

Quenton is in football, basketball, baseball, NHS, C-Club, and the Peace Lutheran Church youth group. He has not yet decided on a college, but plans to play baseball and study optometry.

Hailey is in Student Council, NHS, C-Club, FCA, volleyball, track, Leadership and Ethics, competitive dance, and the Trinity Lutheran Church youth group. Next year she plans to attend UNL to study nursing.
Meet homecoming candidate Izzie Daniels!
He is in cross country, track and field, FCA, and the Trinity Lutheran youth group. He is not sure yet where he will attend school next year, but would like to run the 400 in track. He plans to get a fire science degree and obtain EMT and paramedic certifications to become a firefighter.

Abby participates in soccer, volleyball, basketball, NHS, Student Council, HOSA, C-Club, FCA, and Leadership and Ethics. She has not yet decided on a major, but next year she plans on attending Concordia University to play soccer.

Ryder participates in basketball, NHS, Key Club, C-Club, FCA, and the CHS evac team. He has not yet decided on a college, but plans to major in agriculture.
Meet homecoming candidate Alyn Estrada Morales!
Alyn is the Senior class Secretary, a Student Ambassador and a STRIVE tutor. She is in tennis, Key Club, HOSA, NHS, C-Club, Legacy and the Latino Leadership Group. Next year she plans to attend UNL to major in Physics and minor in Spanish. Following that, she plans to attend a two year program at UNMC for clinical perfusion to become a cardiovascular perfusionist.
Join CHS at Memorial Stadium on September 21st as the Discoverer Football team takes on the Fremont Tigers.
Discoverer guests will be able to purchase tickets at the ticket booth near Gate 22 on the day of the event. Tickets for adults will cost $7 and students k-12 $5. All Discoverer fans will enter Memorial Stadium at Gate 22. Kickoff is at 12:00pm (Noon). parking lots will open at 10:00am.
The CPS Foundation will be hosting a community pep rally from 10:30-11:30 in UNL's Lot 12 (horseshoe lot) located on the east side of the stadium. This event is free to the public and free food will be available for the first 1,000 attendees. Centro Hispano will be hosting spirit sign making and you can get your face painted by our CHS Art Club. The CHS Band, Cheer Team and Diamond Dancers will be on site to lead us in the fight song!
