Congratulations to Ellie Thompson, daughter of Bret and Holly Thompson, on being named as a 2022 CHS Homecoming Candidate. Ellie is involved in volleyball, basketball, soccer, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club, Student Council, Student Council Leadership team, National Honor Society, C-Club, S.T.R.I.V.E Tutors, BIONIC, CHS 101, and Godteens. She is currently undecided on a college but plans to major in biology and become a pediatrician. Join the Discoverers this Friday for the Homecoming Football Game at 7:00 pm at Pawnee Park Memorial Stadium. The Homecoming ceremony will take place following the game.

Congratulations to Eden Jackson, daughter of Jesse and Wendy Jackson, on being named as a 2022 CHS Homecoming Candidate. Eden is involved in the National Honor Society, CHS 101, cheerleading, Captain's Chorale (Concert Chorale), New World Singers, CHS Ambassadors, HOSA, and is in the Top 10% of her class. She is part of the youth group at Immanuel Lutheran Church and is a dancer at Lynette's Dance Studio. She plans to continue her education by earning a nursing degree from a 4-year school.

Congratulations to Wyatt Swanson, son of Jim and Sandra Swanson, on being named as a 2022 CHS Homecoming Candidate. Wyatt is involved in the National Honor Society, CHS 101, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and baseball. He is a youth leader at his church. He is planning to attend Mount Marty University to play baseball and earn a degree in criminal justice. The fall pep rally will be held on Fri, Oct 7, from 10:00-10:32am. We will celebrate the fall accomplishments and announce the homecoming court. If you would like to attend, you may arrive at 9:45am and sit on the SE side of the gym.

Next week is our last week of the summer food program. It has been a great summer! July 25-29th food will be served at CMS and Centennial. There will be no lunches served at CHS.
