CHS is diving into a something new and starting a dive team this year!! If you are interested in being a part of this exciting new adventure feel free to reach out to coach Dillon at Dillona@gmail.org or anyone on the swim team. If you are interested in joining the swim team, it's not too late either.
BIONIC will be selling candy cane grams during lunch this week! They will have a table during all lunches starting Monday, December 12 thru Thursday, December 15. They will be delivered December 21st. These sweet treats cost $1 so buy them to send a special treat to your favorite teachers and friends!
The annual Winter Fine Arts Festival is Monday, December 19th from 5:00 to 8:00. Artwork will be on display in the IMC throughout the evening. The band will be hosting their concert at 7:30. And, there will be the Waffleman! Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door. Please come and support all our amazingly talented artists!
It's time to promote some holiday spirit and Student Council's upcoming January Winter Informal! Student Council is using Santa's elves to hide paper ornaments around the building on Monday and Tuesday, December 19th and 20th. These ornaments will have a message on the backside of them that tells you it's a winning ornament. Students are encouraged to find them throughout the day for a candy treat or a free Winter Informal ticket valued at $10! Please bring your ornament to the IMC in order to claim your prize.
Student Council is also hosting an ugly Christmas sweater contest on Wednesday, December 21st. Students and staff are encouraged to wear their ugliest Christmas sweater in order to win prizes! Two students will each win a $20 gift card, while one staff member will win a $10 gift card. Students and staff will vote to determine the winners.
FBLA Members: Join us for our December meeting and Holiday party after school on Tuesday, December 20, after school in Ms. Tunink's room (G220). See your FBLA Google Classroom for more details.
Just a quick reminder regarding the December 19-21 school schedule. Due to a correction in the number of teacher contract days, students will now be dismissed for the holiday break at 12:00pm (noon) on Wednesday, December 21st. - Auditions for this year's Winter Play, Lost in Yonkers, are being held Wednesday, December 14 at 4:05 p.m. in Room D113. Audition materials are available in D113. If you have any questions, please talk to or send a politely worded email to Ms. Parker or Mr. McDonald.

- Attention, seniors. Now is the time to order your graduation items from Jostens. Prices are expected to rise after December 15. Directions for how to order the required items are in your building Google classroom. If you want to pay with cash or need some assistance, please see Mrs. Wallin in the IMC.
Friday, December 16
- STRIVE tutors: There will be a mandatory meeting for all student tutors in the cafeteria during HR on Friday, December 16th, 2022. All tutors need to bring their phones and computers to this meeting.
