Attention, seniors. Please remember to get your cap and gown sets ordered from Jostens soon. The price will increase on December 15. Currently, the price is around $55. Instructions for ordering are in your building Google classroom. Please see Mrs. Wallin if you have any questions. 


FBLA Members: Please sign up to bring items for the Thanksgiving Food Baskets in your Google Classroom. Bring the items to Ms. Tunink's room by Friday, November 18. We will put the baskets together after school on Monday, November 21, in Ms. Tunink's room (G220).


Any girls interested in the joining the girls bowling team, please see Mr. Kwapnioski or Mr. Carmichael this week.



Juniors and Seniors who plan to take dual-credit 2nd semester:  CCC will be at CHS to hand out registration forms, answer questions and take completed registration forms.  Seniors are to report on Tuesday, November 29th and Juniors report on Thursday, December 1st to the cafeteria.

Monday, November 14

Winter sports season starts on Nov. 14.  Any students interested in going out for a winter sport need to have the following completed before they are able to practice and compete:

  • 1.  Physical completed and turned in
  • 2.  Purchase a C-Stamp  
  • 3.  Register and complete the required paperwork on SmartSchoolK-12 

If you have any questions, please visit Mr. Carmichael or Mr. Kwapnioski in the Athletics and Activities office.

  • There will be an FCCLA meeting Monday, Nov 14th at 7:45am or 3:45pm in Miss Jaixen's room #G113. See you there!


Tuesday, November 15

  • Do you have a skill that you would like to show off to the world?  Consider participating in the CHS Variety Show which will be taking place on Tuesday, November 22nd in the CHS Concert Hall.  This event features dancing, singing, acting, instruments, songwriting, and any other skill that wishes to compete!  A $300 in cash will be given away to the winners of this event!  Students interested in participating in the Variety Show will need to submit a recording of their act by Tuesday, November 15.  Check with Mr. Ritter in the choir room or your building Google Classroom for more information.
  • FBLA Members: Please plan to attend our meeting after school on Tuesday, November 15, after school in Ms. Tunink's room (G220). If you are unable to attend, see Ms. Tunink.
  • There will be a short meeting for Close Up immediately after school Tuesday, November 15, in Mr. Coan's room G137.

Wednesday, November 16

  • 10th graders interested in the HOBY need to bring a printed activity resume and essay to Ms. Seehusen by 4PM on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022.  The chosen 10th grader will be notified by the end of the month by Ms. Seehusen.

Friday, November 18

  • Are you skilled in math, science or both?  Do you enjoy competition?  If so, the Nebraska Science Bowl is for you.  If you are interested in competing, stop by room G115 and talk to Mr. Townsend by Friday, November 18th.
