The Columbus High School Marching Band performs during the 2022 Columbus Marching Festival at Memorial Stadium in Columbus, Nebraska.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Columbus High School Marching Band and the Columbus High School Band Boosters will host the Columbus Marching Festival.  The Columbus Marching Festival is in its 48th year and has proven to be a showcase for talented bands from across the region.  It is one of the longest running festivals in Nebraska.  This year, there are 15 participating schools. That's more than 1,000 students, nearly 30 busses, and a dozen equipment vehicles.

The CMF parade will begin at 10 a.m. in downtown Columbus, and the field marching competition will begin at 1 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. The Discoverer Marching Band will be taking the field at roughly 4:30 that afternoon.

Columbus High School would like to invite everyone to come out and support all of the schools participating in the Columbus Marching Festival.  Go, Discoverers!
