The weight room will be open after school on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for open lifting from 3:45 to 4:45 pm during the months of December, January, February, and March.

Attention Juniors & Seniors: The $250 Summer Scholarship application at CCC opens March 2nd and can be used for CCC summer courses. The deadline to apply is April 15th. The application can be found on the CCC website or email Ms. Loeffelholz for the link.



Attention, seniors. If you have not ordered your Jostens's items yet, you may still do so. Please understand the shipping rate may have increased in order to get your materials here in time for graduation. Please see Mrs. Wallin for any questions or assistance.


1. If you are applying for the Youth Leadership Columbus Program the deadline to turn in your application is March 18th and it is during Spring Break, so please plan ahead and turn in your application this week.

 2. Pick up your registration for summer school in the counseling office. Talk to your counselor if you have any questions about the sessions and classes available.



No school for students beginning Friday, March 11 through Friday, March 18 for teacher development and spring break. School will resume on Monday, March 21 which is also the beginning of 4th quarter. Wednesday, March 23 will be a Wednesday early dismissal which is 2:35 pm.



The Columbus High School athletic summer camp dates have been set for 2022, with the first camp set to begin May 31. Please click here to be taken to the information.



If you are bringing a non CHS student to prom, you will need to complete the guest permission form. These forms are available in the office from Ms. Maass, or you may download the form from the website or the link in the bulletin. They are due no later than Wednesday, April 13. Questions, please see Ms. Maass. Also, please remember you must have your fines paid along with ASD time under 180 minutes to attend the dance. Monday, March 7

  • There will be a cheer tryout meeting on Monday, March 7th, right after school in the cafeteria. Questions can be directed to Ashley Braithwait or braithwaita@discoverers.org 

Wednesday, March 9

  • Senior Spring Sports Picture: With the impending weather for today, March 9, we will take the senior spring sports picture in the main gym . The picture is set to take place at 3:00.

Thursday, March 10

  • The Senior all class photo will take place on Thursday, March 10, in the main gym during homeroom. Seniors plan to head to the gym right after 2nd period. Please wear a maroon shirt for the photo.
  • A representative of the US Marine Corps will be in the cafeteria during all lunch periods on Thursday, March 10th.
  • Students:  Thursday, March 10, is "Be like Cal" t-shirt day.  If you have a t-shirt, please wear it on Thursday.
