Grad Cap

The final push towards the end of the school year is always exciting and busy.  On April 17, CHS hosted over 450 students for the 2021 Prom.  It was great to see our students enjoy a somewhat “regular” high school experience.

This year has been difficult on students, as they have not been able to attend extracurricular events as they would in a normal school year. Prior to the 2021 Prom, our last high school dance was the 2020 Winter Informal.

Thanks go out to Ms. Watson and Ms. Kwapnioski for the organization and setup for this year’s Prom.

Graduation is a major life milestone for all of our students.  This year, CHS is planning on having one graduation ceremony on May 30, at 3.  Each graduate will receive four tickets for their family to attend the ceremony.  In discussions with our students, it is their desire to have one ceremony and be able to graduate with all of their classmates as opposed to two ceremonies similar to what was done in 2020.

We are proud of the 2021 graduating class and know that in many ways this senior year was not what they expected.

Even with all of the challenges, they persevered and accomplished their goals and have the opportunity for success in the next chapter of their life.
