Columbus High School invites businesses to participate in the Spring Career Expo and Job Fair.
The event will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Columbus High School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be open to current sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
The mission of the Spring Career Expo and Job Fair is to proactively expose students to various local career options and open a world of career path opportunities they might have yet to think to envision for themselves. In addition, businesses are encouraged to use this opportunity to discuss current employment opportunities available to high school students and graduating seniors planning to enter the workforce.
Businesses/Companies participating in the Spring Career Expo and Job Fair are encouraged to provide the following information:
Show students the different departments, positions, and career fields available within your business.
Supply examples of services or products your business provides.
Provide examples of how employees contribute to the success of your business/industry.
Describe what students can be doing now and in the future to prepare themselves for a job in this
career field.
Provide information about current employment opportunities for high school students (if applicable) and graduating seniors planning to enter the workforce.
