Your Educators Rising Group will be selling Snickers, Plain M&M's, and Skittles for $2.00.

We will be taking orders on April 25, 26, and 27 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) from 7:30-8:00 in the main hallway by the bathrooms.

May Day candy will be delivered at the end of the day on May 1!

Tuesday, April 25

  • Student Council is currently accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year. Applications can be found in your building Google classrooms. All applications are due by 4:00 on April 25. 
  • Juniors, make sure you know your scheduled time for attending the Career/Job Fair tomorrow, Tuesday, April 25th.  Mrs. Marino sent the information last Thursday to your Counseling Google Classroom.  Seniors can also find the information on their counseling Google Classroom.
    Make sure you bring your phone or computer devices with you!


Wednesday, April 26

  • If you are interested in attending the Wayne State Math Competition on Friday, May 5th please attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 26 immediately after school in room F225. If you cannot attend the meeting but want to be a part of the competition, please contact Ms. Soltys. 
  • Attention, seniors. Graduation speech tryouts will be after school on Wednesday, April 26, in the IMC. Please see Mrs. Wallin to pick up speech guidelines and to sign up for a tryout time.


Thursday, April 27

  • Any CHS student needing academic help, is welcome to attend STRIVE Thursdays from 3:45PM-5PM in the IMC on 4/13, 4/20, 4/27 and 5/4. STRIVE tutors and a teacher volunteer will be in attendance to assist with questions. In addition, if you owe detention minutes; the time in attendance will count towards your detention time. Questions, contact Ms. Seehusen.
  • Juniors, make sure you know when you are scheduled to attend the College Fair, Thursday, April 27.  The process will be the same as it was for the Career Fair.
    All other students who signed up for this event, make sure you bring your phone or computer device with you to the event.

Friday, April 28

  • There will be an FCS field trip to CCC-Hastings campus on Monday May, 1st.  Get your permission slip for this opportunity from either Ms. Long or Ms. Jaixen.  Please return your permission slip by this Friday, April 28th.
