Seniors! Honors Night will be held Wednesday, May 3rd at 7pm. Please check your email for a link to enter scholarship information that will be recognized during Honors Night. If you have any questions, please email or talk to Ms. Loeffelholz.


Attention, seniors. Our Jostens's representative will be here April 20 to hand out graduation items during your lunch period. If you haven't ordered your items yet, please see Mrs. Wallin in the IMC ASAP. 


If you are bringing a non CHS student to prom, you will need to complete the guest permission form. These forms are available in the office from Ms. Maass. They are due no later than Friday, April 14. In addition, please remember that fines must be paid and detention time below 180 minutes to attend prom. Questions, please see Ms. Maass.

  • Wednesday: Made Fresh Scalloped Potatoes & Ham with Dinner Roll
  • Thursday: Super Nachos with Breadstick
  • Friday: No School



Just a reminder that Wednesday, April 5, is a 2:35 pm dismissal. No school on Friday, April 7 through Monday, April 10, for Easter break. School will resume on Tuesday, April 11, with a 3:40 pm dismissal.




Students there are 6 Tuesdays and Thursday left before prom.  After School Detention (ASD) is available from 3:45 until 5:45 pm.  Get your time served, if you plan to attend Prom.



Monday, April 3

  • Auditions for the 2023-23 New World Singers will take place on Monday, April 3th at 6:30pm in the choir room.  Learning materials are available by request via email.  If a student is interested in auditioning but cannot attend the audition date, an alternate audition date can be made.  If you have any questions or would like access to the audition materials, please email or speak with Mr. Ritter. 

 

Tuesday, April 4

  • Juniors take the ACT at CHS.
  • 9th, 10th and 12th grade students will not be attending school on this date.
  • Juniors should arrive at 7:30AM so that testing can begin on time.
  • Students should make sure to keep their cell phones and smart watches at home.
  • Juniors will be dismissed at the conclusion of the ACT test.
  • Students will have a lunch period that is included in the testing schedule.



Wednesday, April 5

  • All students will be in attendance.
  • CHS will have a 2:35 dismissal.
  • 9th grade students will take the PreACT test in the morning.  They will attend their afternoon classes as scheduled.
  • 2:35pm Dismissal

Thursday, April 6

  • All students will be in attendance.
  • CHS will have a 3:40 dismissal.
  • 10th grade students will take the PreACT test in the morning.  They will attend their afternoon classes as scheduled.
  • Any CHS student needing academic help, is welcome to attend STRIVE Thursdays from 3:45PM-5PM in the IMC beginning April 6th. STRIVE tutors and various staff will be in attendance to assist with questions. In addition, if you owe detention minutes; the time in attendance will count towards your detention time. Questions, contact Ms. Seehusen.

Friday, April 7

  • No school on Friday, April 7 through Monday, April 10, for Easter break. School will resume on Tuesday, April 11, with a 3:40 dismissal.
