College and career readiness is and continues to be the focus at Columbus High School. During the 2021-2022 school year skilled and technical science students earned 520 certifications from either Snap On, Festo or Starrett. Adding to the list this year Festo/mechatronics training, electronic torque and mechanical torque version 2. The certification program supported by the CHS staff is impressive. As of March 31, 2022 CHS was ranked 20th nationally in the NC3 certification race. When visiting this list you will find that CHS is the third highest high school ranked among colleges.
Congratulations to this year's top certification earners!
