Emerson is an excellent school with fantastic students and staff. In an effort to support our district’s mission of "Engaging All Learners To Achieve Success" we focus on active student participation. Our teachers use explicit instruction, modeling, guided practice and checking for understanding to ensure concepts are clearly explained and practiced accurately. Staff development, collaboration, relationships, data analysis and student growth are some of our primary focuses. Emerson Crusaders are provided opportunities throughout their day to engage in class discussions, practice critical skills, and utilize our technology.

Classroom management is supported through well-managed classroom strategies and BIST.  Our students are expected to be responsible, respectful, and safe.
