Family: Husband – Steve; Justin, 2006 graduate of Columbus High School, living and working in Columbus; Bethany, 2008 graduate of CHS, married and living in Florida; and Chelsey, 2013 graduate of CHS, currently attending UNL studying to be an elementary school teacher.
Occupation: Great Plains State Bank – Personal Banking Officer.

Community Involvement:
CPS Foundation Board Member; Leadership Columbus Alumni Association Board Member; American Red Cross blood donor; member of St. Isidore Church; past Go Red for Women committee member; past CHS Band Booster Club board member and past Post Prom subcommittee chair.

Hobbies: “Family movie night”, reading mystery novels, spending time with family and friends.

Community Involvement:
Member of the First United Methodist Church, NEA, Book Clubs, and JSN social sorority.

Hobbies: Traveling, reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Family: Jacob, senior at Columbus High School; Abby, sophomore at Columbus High School , Allison, sophomore at Columbus High School.

Occupation: School Psychologist for Schuyler Community Schools. Teacher and School Psychologist at Columbus Public Schools for 20 years.

Community Involvement:
Citizen’s Advocacy, Special Olympics coach, Teammates Mentor, coached various youth sports, member of St. Anthony’s Parish, former member of Kiwanis and was president of the Columbus Education Association.
Hobbies: Family activities, attending Husker sporting events, and traveling.

Occupation:  City of Columbus Police Sergeant.

Community Involvement: Member of First United Methodist Church, Boy Scouts of America, past member of Columbus Jaycees, Morning Rotary Club, former Youth Softball Association board member, former Youth Softball coach, former Columbus High Band Boosters Board member, Coached inline hockey club and recreational level at Columbus Events Center. 

Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, volunteering at Camp Cedars and still active with Boy Scouts of America.

Timothy Pospisil

Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (1989).

Family: Wife – Kathy; Son – Cameron, 2014 Graduate of Columbus High School; Daughter – Taryn, 2016 Graduate of Columbus High School.

Occupation:  In 1999, Tim joined Nebraska Public Power District’s Cooper Nuclear Station, where he served in various engineering roles.  In 2005, he transferred to NPPD’s General Office in Columbus.   He served as an IT Business Analyst, followed by three years as the IT Security Supervisor.  He was recently named the Director of Corporate Security and Chief Security Officer (CSO), with responsibility for Physical and Cyber Security for the NPPD.

Community Involvement: Member of Peace Lutheran Church, Adult Leader for Peace Lutheran Mission Trips to Canada, Member of Columbus Aquatic Associate Board, Past member of Discoverers Sports Booster Club Board, Past State High School Swimming Official. 

Husker Volleyball, Golf, Crossword Puzzles, and spending time at Kid’s events.
